Boudica Socks, designed by Miriam Felton (MimKnits), are named after Boudica, the rebel Celtic queen who fought the Roman Empire after they refused her daughters' claim to the throne of the Iceni people. A Celtic knotwork-inspired braid runs up each side from the toe to the upper cuff, where travelling stitches and a horizontal braid cleverly hide calf increases. Finished off by a rolled edge, these socks are simple, but stunning.
