Pretty as a Peacock Shawl pattern, by Some Knitting Required.

Knit from the neck down, the various lace patterns combine to look like the open fan of peacock's tail. The nature of the lace pattern allows for a wide range of yarn weights, from fingering to sport. With a slight needle change, it could easily be knit with lace weight as well.

Pattern includes both charts and text for lace pattern.

Yarn requirements: approx. 1500 yds. fingering or sport weight yarn
Finished size: 88 inches wide and 34 inches at center after blocking
Needles: 3.5 mm (US 4) needles or size needed to obtain gauge
