Trevi Triangle Shawl pattern, by Anne Hanson of Knitspot.
A shimmering triangle shawl in three sizes mini(petite, tall) to accent any outfit with silky luxury. Body is knit in a repeating geometric motif of simple lace stitches and ends at the hem in a knit-on edge. With wrong-side rows all in purl, this piece works up quickly and travels well.
Can be resized by adding/subtracting repeats or worked in a different gauge by changing yarn and needles. Recommended for nearly-solid or tonal variegated yarns.
Suggested Yarn: 400 (600, 800) yds. of HandMaiden Cashmere and Silk, Sea Silk or any Fingering weight yarn
- Mini: 45 in. W x 21 in. long, blocked
- Petite: 72 in. W x 32 in. long, blocked
- Tall: 80 in. W x 36 in long, blocked
Needles: 3.5 mm. (US 4) for body, and 3.25mm (US 3) for edging; DPN in same size (optional)
Gauge: 24 sts and 34 rows = 10 cm./4 in. square in stockinette, unblocked
