raditional Estonian lace stitches create a garden with rows of small flowers bordered by lily of the valley and edged in a scalloped trellis. Both the wrap and the scarf begin with a provisional cast on. The center section is knit first to create symmetrical borders and edgings. Designed for lace weight yarn, these accessories may also be knit in fingering weight yarn.
Blocked Size:
- Wrap: 19" x 66" (48 x 168 cm).
- Scarf: 10" x 66" ((25 x 168 cm).
Yarn Requirements:
- Wrap: 850 yds (777m) lace weight yarn.
- Scarf: 485 yds (443m) lace weight yarn.
Yarn amounts will vary if using a different weight yarn or if size is increased or decreased.
Needles: US size 5 (3.75mm) needles and a crochet hook size F (3.75 mm).
