Surround yourself in a swirl of feathers with this lacy shawl. Knit from the neck down, the shawl's round shape is fun to knit and flattering to wear in either a short, dressy laceweight version or the cozy, longer, sport/DK/8-ply version.
The easy-to-memorize feather lace gives an interesting slant to multi-colored yarns and also looks great in solid colors. There is a choice of two neck opening sizes, and because the scalloped edging can be started at the end of any lace repeat, the shawl's length is easily customized. The shawl stays in place without a closure, but it is fun to showcase a special shawl pin or button.
