At dusk each evening 8500 crows return to roost on the grounds of Mount Saint Vincent University in western Halifax, as they have done for more than 60 years. Local legend tells that each crow was a nun from the Sisters of Charity Motherhouse who had died and returned for a visit.

These socks celebrate those curious crows.

Needles: 2.5mm & 3mm (see notes) circular needle 32" or 2 x 9"(see notes) or DPN’s
Don’t forget to do a gauge swatch.

Gauge: 32 sts x 48 rnds per 4" (8 sts and 12 rnds per 1") in stockinette

Sizes: To fit foot circumference: 8.5" / 9.25" / 10"
Actual finished sock circumference: 7.5" / 8.25" / 9"
Circumference stitch count: 60 / 66 / 72
