Riverwide Scarf

Using a simple eyelet pattern that evokes winding streams and river deltas. The pattern takes advantage of the broad range of shades and tonality that hand dyed wools have, and the back (not pictured) is just as beautiful as the front, making this scarf truly reversible. This scarf is worked from end to end along the long side of the scarf. This makes it stripe vertically when worn. The garter lace stream and delta pattern is both written and charted.

Gauge: 20 sts and 50 rows per 4" (10 cm) in garter stitch after blocking
Finished Measurements: 66 inches (168 cm) long & 6 inches (15 cm) wide.
Needle Size: US Size 4 (3.5mm) 32 inch (81 cm) circulars or size needed to obtain gauge.
